X-WR-CALDESC:Our focus will be on the finer points of building using coils:
rolling coils that will make good building-blocks\, how to use coils to s
hape forms\, and experiment with different-shaped coils for more decorativ
e effects. A basic understanding of handbuilding with clay is recommended
 - students should expect to manage how their clay is drying\, be able to a
djust their technique for potentially delicate work\, and will experience
working in stages that will best suit what the clay is doing. Attendees ma
y keep one small creation\, which will be glazed clear and ready for picku
p roughly 3 weeks after the class.
