Clay Skills Workshop: Pinch Pots
Dive deep into this intuitive pottery technique! How to move, shape, form, and refine your handbuilt pottery (AND how these methods translate to your wheel-throwing practice if you have one). Talk through and experiment with techniques to better understand how clay behaves and how you can work with it to create pottery you love. A basic understanding of working with clay is encouraged, but not necessary - this is a technique focused class. Attendees may keep one small creation, which will be glazed clear and ready for pickup roughly 3 weeks after the class. Included in each of these workshops: stay for drop-in studio that day (1-4:00) and hourly fees are waived, just pay for clay and firing (if desired).
