Ancient Animal Vessels: Handbuilding Workshop
Step back in time and explore the creativity of our ancestors in this all-levels handbuilding clay class. Inspired by ancient vessels from cultures around the world, participants will be introduced to the art's history and speculate the symbolism of these vessels—and then create their own animal-inspired vessels from clay using primarily the pinch pot technique, This class is open to ages 8 and up and is a great opportunity for individuals or multi-generational families to connect, create, and explore our relationship with the natural world.
